Motherhood sessions

Sweet Mama,

When was the last time you were in front of the camera with your babes? I’m not talking about the annual family photo shoot. I mean investing in a session that focuses strictly on you and the ones who made you “Mom”.

I honestly never, ever thought I would get here but I’m officially out of the beautiful, exhausting, breathtaking baby chapter of our life and it simultaneously shatters my heart and fills me up with a sense of wonder. When you’re in it, you definitely understand it’s going to end one day but, god, that day creeps up on you and hits you like a freight train. And the cycle repeats at every age and stage. I have friends in the newborn stage and I have friends who are watching their 16 year olds drive away with their license and I’ve got friends in between those with me. I can’t imagine how our own mothers and grandmothers must be feeling going through it all over with their babies’ babies.

Moral of the story: you’ll never regret having the photos. You can’t put a price on a memory because it’s worth grows by the second. Book the session and get. your. face. in. those. shots. Do it for you but also do it for them. In your heart, you are celebrating and mourning every piece of them that’s changing every day. Whether they are 18 months or 18 years, continue to be photographed with your babies.

Whatever is holding you back, let it go.

Twenty years from now we are all going to wish we looked like we do today.

We're all going to wish our babies were as small as they were yesterday.
