WHAT TO WEAR

The studio will be decorated in a neutral, nordic colour palette - cream, pine green, white lights, light browns - so really ANY colours and styles will work but here are my favourites and suggestions:

FOR A CASUAL, TIMELESS LOOK: Keep it relaxed with some light jeans or khaki coloured pants and lots of light-toned neutral knits and fabrics. Chunky sweaters, bare feet, lose hair and a soft collection of colours will give your images a gorgeous, cozy vibe that can be displayed year round.

FOR A CLASSY CHRISTMAS LOOK: Take a more sophisticated spin on traditional Christmas colours and choose darker shades like burgundy and deep evergreen. Choose luxurious fabrics like velvet and cashmere and gold accents to amplify the darker jewel tones.

FOR THE DARN CUTEST CHRISTMAS CARD: Yup. You know what I'm about to say. Grab those matching pjs - the ones with the cute little patterns and buttflaps and feeties. Ideally, choose sets that coordinate but don't match perfectly (same colour palette but opt for subtle stripes or plaid on some and more intricate patterns on others).

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN WEARING ONE FOR YOUR SESSION. I WILL GIVE YOU INSTRUCTIONS ON WHERE YOU CAN VIEW AND TRY ON DRESSES IN THE 5-10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR SESSION.

When you arrive

Sessions are booked with only a small window of time in between so please feel free to come into the studio approximately five minutes before your scheduled session time. If I am still with clients, make yourselves at home on the couch in our waiting room, make a coffee, check your hair and makeup in the mirror or have little ones use the washroom if they need to. I will come welcome you in as soon as I'm ready for you!
